Since January 2006, the Transition Program managed by the HCMC Provincial AIDS Committee (PAC) and supported by USAID through PEPFAR has been established. FHI supported the development of a case management network to support the successful integration of returnees from drug rehabilitation centers to the community. Twenty eight case managers (CM) and drug addiction counsellors were recruited and equipped with skills and knowledge in drug dependence counselling, relapse prevention, HIV care and treatment; psychosocial support and involvement of families in the prevention of drug relapse.

The Deaf Empowerment Foundation is offering scholarships to Deaf students of all nationalities for the 2009/2010 school year in the Applied Sign Language Studies program. This is a new 4-year BA program which will be taught at the Indira Gandhi National Open University in New Delhi, India.
